THE JOURNAL OF MIGRATION AND REFUGEE ISSUES
The Journal of Migration and Refugee Issues is a refereed journal focusing on legal and policy issues underpinning the movement of people across national borders.
The journal commenced in 2005 and is now accepting submissions for (2009) vol 5 no 3.
It accepts articles on a wide range of issues, including:
- International migration patterns;
- Changing migration trends and the rights of non-citizens;
- Refugees and internally displaced people;
- Government and civil responses to refugee flows;
- Determination and assessment of refugee status;
- Comparative migration and refugee law;
- The history of migration and refugee law; and
- Citizenship and statelessness.
SUBMISSIONS
The Journal of Migration and Refugee Issues is a peer-reviewed journal. All articles are reviewed within one month of receipt.
The editor is John Vrachnas, who was a member of the Refugee Review Tribunal (Aust) and is now a migration and refugee lawyer.

STYLE GUIDE
No particular style guide is prescribed. Authors must use a consistent referencing style throughout their paper, such as Harvard Blue Book referencing style or the Australian Guide to Legal Citation.
